Our 3-day CompTIA Security+CE 2011 Certification Boot Camp program provides IT professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to demonstrate a broad knowledge of security concerns and perform day-to-day security functions.
The program covers: Introduction to General Security Concepts, Communication Infrastructure Security, Cryptography/Operational/Organizational Security, and concludes with the actual delivery of the certification exam. CompTIA Security+CE is an international, vendor-neutral certification that proves competency in system security, network infrastructure, access control and organizational security.
Training Prerequisite
Although not a prerequisite, it is recommended that candidates have at least two years of technical networking experience, with an emphasis on security. The CompTIA Network+ certification is also recommended.
CompTIA Security+ certifications are valid for three years from the date the candidate is certified. To renew the certification, candidates can take the latest version of those exams or enroll in the CE (Continuing Education) program, of which this boot camp is designated.
